DEGUSSA AG plans to raise its global capacity for specialty methacrylate monomers during 2003 by dint of the end of the year, the company's overall capacity for the monomers will be 110000 tons, following expansions of 6000 tons at its plant in Mobile, Ala., and 24000 tons at its facilities in Germany.
