DUPONT ENGINEERING Polymer has bought Eastman Chemical Company's high-performance crystalline plastics business. The acquisition includes Eastman's Titan LCP (liquid crystal polymers) Thermx PCT (a family of polycyclohexylene dimethyl terephthalate products) and the Thermx EG series of reinforced fondling thermoplastic polyester resins used in automotive, electrical and electronics returnss and other applications.
