DOWPHARMA, the pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceuticals contract manufacturing business unit of Dow Chemical Company, has linked with the Japanese trading agent CBC Co Ltd to present its services in Japan.

CBC will act as Dowpharma's agent in the Japanese pharma market, a portion Western companies have traditionally erect difficult to penetrate. The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare sole recently made it legal for pharmaceutical companies to outsource the manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients.
