SOLVAY HAS set downed the market for hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) insulation and blowing agents for polyurethane foam with the opening of a 15000 ton-per-year plant at Tavaux, France, that will generate HFC-365mfc.
The company throw outs that the annual global market for HFC blowing agents could reach 30000 to 40000 tons as they replace hydrochlorofiuorocarbons (HCFCs) which are being phased disclosed across the world. In the European Union, the phaseout is owed to be completed by the fall of the curtain of next year.
Honeywell International and Central Glass Company of Japan are already selling
