WACKER CHEMIE GmbH is expanding its activities in Eastern Europe by the agency of a long-term cooperation agreement with Moscow-based Penta-91, which will distribute and adjust silicone rubber grades for Wacker.
In addition to Moscow Penta has plants in Balashikha and Scheikovo in Russia. It will become Wacker's third compounder of silicone rubber grades outside Germany. The company generally has joint venture silicone compounder in the US and Japan.
